Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions relate to our “Get Healthy and Get The Most Out Of The Summer” competition. This competition will run over June and July 2018.
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook or Twitter. You understand that you are providing your information to the owner of the Facebook page or Twitter account and not to Facebook or Twitter.
1. How to Enter
1.1 Facebook
To join the campaign on Facebook entrants will need to like the pinned campaign post and add a comment to that post providing a tip for staying healthy over the summer.
1.2 Twitter
To join the campaign on Twitter entrants will need to retweet the pinned campaign tweet with the hashtag #HealthyBridgend and a tip for staying healthy over the summer.
1.3 The winner will be chosen at random from all entries received on Facebook and Twitter.
1.4 By entering this competition, an entry automatically becomes content that may be published on Pen Y Bont social media channels and website.
1.5 By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
1.6 Entries using inappropriate language or themes or anything deemed inappropriate by Pen Y Bont Health will be removed from the competition and from the social media platform it has been posted on.
2. When to Enter and Who can Enter
2.1 The competition opens on Thursday 21st June and closes Sunday 15th July.
2.2 The winner will be contacted via a comment replying to their entry and will be announced on the pinned posts on Facebook and Twitter on Monday 16th July. They should contact Pen Y Bont Health via a private message on the channel in order to claim their prize and arrange collection from one of the Pen Y Bont surgeries.
2.3 Entrants can enter at any points between these dates.
2.4 Entrants can only enter the competition once on each platform (once on Facebook and once on Twitter) but can like, share, comment, tweet and retweet as many times as they like.
2.5 The competition is only open to patients aged 18 and over at one of the six Pen Y Bont Health Surgeries in Bridgend – Ashfield Surgery, New Surgery Pencoed, Newcastle Surgery, Oak Tree Surgery, Pencoed Medical Centre, Riversdale Surgery.
2.6 Employees of Pen Y Bonth Health and their immediate families and anyone else professionally connected with the competition are not eligible to enter.
3. Prize
3.1 The prize for winning the competition will be a family ticket for Folly Farm, Kilgetty, Pembrokeshire. Winner will be responsible for their own travel arrangements and any other costs associated with the visit.
3.2 The Prize is as stated and cannot be sold or exchanged for cash, goods or services.
3.3 All reasonable efforts will be made to contact the winner, but if this cannot be achieved within 48 hours of initial notification, Pen Y Bont Health reserves the right to withdraw the prize entitlement and award this to another entrant.
4. Data Protection and Publicity
4.1 Any personal data relating to participants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation. By entering the Competition, you agree that we may contact you in relation to the Competition.
5. Competition Rules
5.1 The Competition will be run and prize awarded at Pen Y Bont Health’s sole discretion. Any decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
5.2 We reserve the right to change the Competition rules and these Terms and Conditions from time to time. If we do so, we will always have the most up to date terms and conditions on the Website and in the case of a discrepancy between these terms and conditions and those on the Website, the Website terms and conditions will apply. Your continued use of the website will constitute your acceptance of the new rules and/or.
5.3 Pen Y Bont Health accepts no responsibility for content that is lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered for any technical reason.
5.4 Pen Y Bont Health is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied.
5.5 The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by British law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Great Britain.
5.6 By entering the competition, the participant agrees to release Pen Y Bont Health from any liability whatsoever for any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the prize or with the acceptance, possession, attendance at or use of any prize (except death or personal injury caused by Pen Y Bont Health negligence, for fraud, or otherwise as prohibited by law).
